Following reports of a potential U.S. ground invasion, the Tehran Times issued a chilling front-page warning titled "Welcome to Hell," asserting that any American soldier setting foot on Iranian soil would "return in a coffin."
While the Pentagon prepares for specialized raids involving over 4,000 Marines and considers deploying an additional 10,000 troops to target the strategic Kharg Island—which handles 90% of Iran's oil exports—President Trump continues to claim that peace talks are ongoing despite the military buildup.
In response, Iranian officials have threatened to activate Houthi rebels to reopen a maritime front in the Red Sea, further escalating a conflict that has already seen Israeli strikes on central Tehran and resulted in 13 U.S. service member fatalities since February 28.
