Govt moves to boost communications in three hill dists

The government has moved to bring three districts Khagrachari, Rangamati and Bandarban of Chittagong Hill Tracts under strong communications network.

In this regard, optical fiber network is going to be installed in these three districts.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the project proposal of the Information and Communication Technology Department at its 16th meeting on Wednesday.

Later, Additional Secretary of Cabinet Division Shamsul Arefin confirmed the development to the journalists.
