TCB to sell dates at Tk80 per kg from Saturday

A consumer will not be allowed to buy more than one kilogram of dates at a time from any selling point of TCB
State-owned Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling dates at Tk 80 per kg from Saturday.
The government has taken the decision to sell the Iftar item at subsidized rate in a bid to keep its price at a tolerable limit before the holy month of Ramadan tentatively begins from the middle of April.
TCB issued a notification in this regard on Thursday signed by its spokesman Humayun Kabir .
However, a consumer will not be allowed to buy more than one kilogram of dates at a time from any selling point of TCB.
