The government has rearranged the daily office hours from 9 am to 4 pm for all the government and autonomous offices.
The decision came from the Cabinet meeting on Monday and it will come into effect from November 15.
On August 22, the government rescheduled the office timing from 8am to 3 pm for all the government and autonomous offices and from 9 am to 4 pm for all banks in a bid to save electricity amid the energy crisis.
