The people, who took Tax Identification Number (TIN) and could not submit their tax returns, will get an opportunity to file returns in the upcoming fiscal 2022-23 without fines as the government is likely to announce amnesty in the next budget.
About 50 lakh TIN holders will get an opportunity to submit their tax returns without any penalty, according to sources at the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
