Tk 99.50 per USD for export encashment, Tk 107 for remittance collection

The new rate of export bills will be effective from Monday, and the rate of remittance collections will be applicable from November 1

The US dollar rate for remittance collections has been lowered to Tk 107 from Tk 107.50 and the encashment of export bills raised to Tk 99.50 from Tk 99 per USD. 

The Association of Bankers, Bangladesh (ABB) and the Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers Association (BAFEDA) set the new rates at a meeting in Dhaka on Sunday.

The new rate of export bills will be effective from Monday, and the rate of remittance collections will be applicable from November 1. 

The USD rate for import payments will remain the same as per the previous decision.
