The Detective Branch (DB) of Police has identified 311 people who provide funds to Hefazat-e-Islam.

AKM Hafiz Akter, additional commissioner of DB, made this disclosure at a press conference at Dhaka Metropolitan Police headquarters on Tuesday.

He said they have traced over Tk 6 crore transaction in different bank accounts of Mamunul Haque, joint secretary general of the recently dissolved committee of Hefazat-e-Islam and general secretary of Dhaka city. And the source of money is being varified.
