Hossain new chair of City Gen Insurance

Hossain is a Group Executive Director of Anwar Group of Industries. He was Director of Bangladesh Finance Ltd., BD Finance Securities Ltd. and Senior Vice President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Hossain Akhtar unanimously elected as Chairman of City General Insurance Company Limited in its board meeting held recently.

According to a media statement on Monday, Hossain is an industrialist and eminent business personality. He was the first Chairman of City General Insurance Company Limited and remain long time.

Hossain is a Group Executive Director of Anwar Group of Industries. He was Director of Bangladesh Finance Ltd., BD Finance Securities Ltd. and Senior Vice President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

He completed his education from Dhaka Govt. College and stood 8th position in merit list of SSC examination in 1970 from Dhaka Board.
