Continuing its declining mode, Bangladesh received remittances worth $1.36 billion in the first 27 days of October, according to data released by the Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday.
In the first two months of the current financial year, the average remittance earnings were $2 billion dollar.
However, when Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association (BAFEDA) fixed different dollar rates, the earnings were in declining mode from September.
In September, the country received $1.54 billion from expatriates.
