Donald Lu to visit Dhaka this month

During the visit, he is also scheduled to interact with civil society representatives

US Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu will visit Bangladesh this month.

According to sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the US diplomat is likely to visit Dhaka on a two-day visit in the middle of this month.

He will participate in several meetings and view exchange programmes at various government and private levels.

He would attend a bilateral meeting with Bangladesh’s foreign secretary Masud Bin Momen.

Besides, he is likely to hold a courtesy meeting with the foreign minister and Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser. 

During the visit, Donald Lu is also scheduled to interact with civil society representatives.
