COAST provides relief to fire-affected families

The support was provided through the IRMP project of COAST Foundation, in partnership with JICA and with assistance from Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)

Today COAST Foundation, a non-governmental organization, extended cash assistance of BDT 40,000 to four families in Muralia village, Kutubdia, who lost their homes in a devastating fire.

The fire originated in the home of Kaisar Uddin around 1:15 a.m. on 14 November.

It quickly spread to the nearby residences of Md. Nesar, Md. Yasin and Sheku Alam. Residents managed to bring the fire under control, but the houses were destroyed.
