Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport resumed after five and a half hours of disruption caused by dense fog.

Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport resumed after five and a half hours of disruption caused by dense fog.

Alamgir Hossain, assistant information officer of the airport, said the operation of flights resumed around 9:30am after visibility improved.

Schedules of five international flights were disrupted, he said.

Poor visibility had forced suspension of flights on both domestic and international routes since 4am.
