A domestic flight of national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines made emergency landing in Dhaka airport on Tuesday.
A Saidpur bound Dash-8 took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka, at around 12:28pm.
The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at the airport around 12:50pm with 63 passengers on board as it faced pressure problems in its engine, airport sources said.
AAll the passengers and crew members were reportedly safe after the technical glitch.
The incident comes just a week after the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Kathmundu, Nepal, while landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), killing 49 people, including 26 Bangladeshis.
