Evidence from Secretariat fire to be sent abroad for investigation

In connection with the recent fire incident at the Secretariat, some pieces of evidence will be sent abroad for further examination, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder shared this development with the media during a press briefing held by the Press Wing of the Interim Government at the state guesthouse, Jamuna, on Sunday.

He also informed that the investigation committee, which was formed to probe the incident, will submit its preliminary report to Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus on Monday (December 30).

Majumder added that certain crucial evidence related to the fire will be sent overseas for a more thorough investigation to ensure the integrity of the probe.
