Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

The fire originated at a house from an electric short circuit around 10:00pm, leaving three of the victims burnt to death on the spot and five others critically injured, reports our Dinajpur correspondent.

The injured victims were taken to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries this morning, sources said.
