Writ filed challenging ban on sharing symbol in alliance

National Democratic Movement (NDM) General Secretary Mominul Amin filed the writ

A writ was filed with the High Court (HC) on Thursday challenging the recent ban on sharing a single electoral symbol by all the parties in an alliance.

National Democratic Movement (NDM) General Secretary Mominul Amin filed the writ seeking restoration of the previous rule that allowed symbol sharing in an alliance.

The law secretary and Election Commission secretary have been made respondents to the writ.
