NCC Bank donates Tk 50m to PM’s relief fund

As part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility, NCC Bank Chairman Md Nurun Newaz Salim handed over the cheque of Taka 50 million to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban

NCC Bank has recently donated Taka 50million to Prime Minister’s Relief & Welfare Fund.

As part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility, Chairman Md Nurun Newaz Salim handed over the cheque to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in a simple ceremony, said a press release on Sunday.

Sohela Hossain, Vice-Chairman of NCC and Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of the bank were also present on the occasion.

The Prime Minister thanked the owner, chairman and managing director of NCC bank for their donations to the Relief and Welfare Fund.

BAB Chairman Nazrul Islam Mazumder also present there on the occasion.

Bangladesh’s private banks donated Tk163 crore to the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund.

Earlier, the Prime Minister distributed cheques for financial assistance among the family members of those killed and injured in the grenade attack of August 21, 2004.
