Exporters to get cash incentives for shoes, bags made from synthetic-fabric mix

As per the circular, the government will provide 3 percent cash assistance for shipped goods from 1 February 2024 to 30 June 2024

Exporters, from now on, will enjoy cash incentives for shoes and bags made from synthetic materials and fabrics under the bond and duty drawback facilities, said Bangladesh Bank (BB).

The central bank issued a circular in this regard on Thursday.

As per the circular, the government will provide 3 percent cash assistance for shipped goods from 1 February 2024 to 30 June 2024.

The government will also provide a 2 percent cash incentive for shipped goods from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, added the circular.

The other instructions for exporting shoes and bags made from synthetic-fabrics mix under the bond facility will remain unchanged.
