No need to submit monthly statements of buyer’s credit: BB

To rationalise reporting formalities, it has been decided that ADs! are no longer required to submit monthly statements as per aforementioned instructions

Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Thursday said Authorized Dealers (ADs) are no longer required to submit monthly statements of buyer’s credit.

“To rationalise reporting formalities, it has been decided that ADs! are no longer required to submit monthly statements as per aforementioned instructions,” said a BB circular issued on Thursday.

However, ADs shall upload related data on Enterprise Data Warehouse (Template: T_ME_M_STED) in the the usual manner as per the requirements of the Statistics Department, Bangladesh Bank.

The central bank advised bringing the contents of this circular, effective immediately, to all AD bank branches and central trade processing centres for compliance.
